How to Reduce Condensation? - Why do seals fail?
There is a little
more to it than that! there are lots of tips and addition items that come with your kit.
an easy fix with some basic DIY required.
Step 1 Clean the surface
Clean, wipe the window frame surface
with warm water with a small amount of detergent to remove dust,
dirt and grease that may stop the tape from sticking.
Step 2 Measure the
window
With a tape measure start to measure
the distance from the start of the inside of the window you are
insulating to the nearest flat surface.
Measure side to side and then top to
bottom.
Example
980mm x 1120mm
(0.98m x
1.12m) or (98 cm x 112 cm)
Step 3 Apply the tape
When the window frame is dry
Start to apply the double sided
self-adhesive tape to the window frame
You measured earlier using your
measurements.
Example
980mm x 1120mm
Use your knife or scissors to trim
any excess you may have.
Step 4 Apply the film
When youre ready to apply the
insulation film remove the tape backing so the film will stick.
Hold the piece of film up to the window and slowly start to
stick the film to the tape
TIP
apply one side first and pull the film to reduce creases and
stick to the opposite side and the top and bottom.
Step 5 Hairdryer
And to finish point the hairdryer
to the film med heat, you will see the film go tight and
hopefully wrinkle free!

This Window Insulation Kit is

Step 1 – Clean
Clear and clean any dirt or moisture
within the scratch, Crack or Chip on the effected glass area you
are trying to repair, this will ensure better results when you
have finished the repair process.
Step 2 - Squeeze
TIP Before you start have a closer look at what direction the scratch or crack is running so when applying the resin it will give you the best coverage.
One the affected area has been filled by the resin press the clear sheets of film over the repair until all the affected area has been covered and press firmly and evenly.
Step 3 – Dry
Allow for 20 – 40 minutes depending
on how deep your repair is to dry.
Step 4 – Scrape
Once dry tear off the cured film
sheets carefully and use your razor blade to remove any excess
of the glass or effected area you are repairing
