CVK film insulation kit
How does it Work?
Step 1 Clean the surface
Clean, wipe the window frame surface
with warm water with a small amount of detergent to remove dust,
dirt and grease that may stop the tape from sticking.
Step 2 Measure the
window
With a tape measure start to measure
the distance from the start of the inside of the window you are
insulating to the nearest flat surface.
Measure side to side and then top to
bottom.
Example
980mm x 1120mm
(0.98m x
1.12m) or (98 cm x 112 cm)
Step 3 Apply the tape
When the window frame is dry
Start to apply the double sided
self-adhesive tape to the window frame
You measured earlier using your
measurements.
Example
980mm x 1120mm
Use your knife or scissors to trim
any excess you may have.
Step 4 Apply the film
When youre ready to apply the
insulation film remove the tape backing so the film will stick.
Hold the piece of film up to the window and slowly start to
stick the film to the tape
TIP
apply one side first and pull the film to reduce creases and
stick to the opposite side and the top and bottom.
Step 5 Hairdryer
And to finish point the hairdryer
to the film med heat, you will see the film go tight and
hopefully wrinkle free!

This Window Insulation Kit is
a DIY solution that lets create an extra layer of insulation on
the windows. It consists of a clear plastic film and a
double-sided tape that can easily apply to any window frame.
The film shrinks when heated with a hairdryer, creating a tight seal that prevents cold air from entering and warm air from escaping. The film is transparent and does not reduce the amount of light or visibility through the window.

There is a little more to it than that! that's the basics and there are lots of tips and addition items that come with your kit.

CVK Fly Screen kit
How does it Work?
Using fly screen insect mesh on
windows provides several benefits
1. Insect Protection
The primary benefit is keeping
insects like flies, mosquitoes, and other pests out of your home
while allowing fresh air to circulate freely.
2. Improved Ventilation
The mesh allows you to keep windows
open without worrying about pests, enabling better airflow and
ventilation.
3. Enhanced Comfort
By preventing insects, you can enjoy
a more comfortable indoor environment, especially during warmer
months when pests are more active.
4. Energy Efficiency
Instead of relying solely on air
conditioning, you can use natural airflow to cool your home,
reducing energy consumption and electricity bills.
5. Added Privacy
Some types of insect mesh offer a
degree of privacy by obscuring visibility from outside while
maintaining clear views from indoors.
6. Dust and Debris Reduction
The mesh can help filter out dust,
pollen, and debris, improving indoor air quality and
cleanliness.
7. Pet Safety
Fly screens can act as a barrier to
prevent pets from escaping through open windows.
8. Low Maintenance
Modern insect meshes are easy to clean and durable, requiring minimal upkeep.
9. Customizable Options
Fly screens come in a variety of materials, sizes, and designs, allowing you to choose one that suits your aesthetic preferences and specific needs.
10. Eco-Friendly Solution
By reducing the need for chemical
insect repellents or sprays, insect mesh is a more
environmentally friendly way to deal with pests.
Overall, installing insect mesh on your windows is a practical and cost-effective solution for maintaining a pest-free, comfortable, and healthy home environment.
